About me.

Hello. And namaste.

I am Renuka.

I am a trained EFT (tapping) practitioner, a trained Martha Beck life coach and I hold a Graduate Certificate in Counselling.

I work with spiritually and/or creatively inclined women, and help them clear emotional and energetic blocks so that they can live a life that is meaningful for them. I myself am a spiritually and creatively inclined woman.

I also help women, like me, who come from 'culturally and linguistically diverse' (CALD) backgrounds to create, a life and a sense of belonging in a part of the world that is different from where we grew up, and now choose to call it our home. It takes a lot of courage to constantly balance the two identities we carry within ourselves - the identity that comes from the culture we grew up in and the identity that comes from choosing a new place and culture as our home. Many of us are also mothers constantly trying to maintain the balance for our kids as well, so that they can be connected to their ancestral lineage and, be a healthy and contributing member of their present community as well. My mission is to support you in your journey to growing your roots all over again and flourishing exactly as who you are as an individual and also as a mother (if you are one).

More about me :

I live in Perth, Australia, with my husband, my daughter and my three fur kids.

I grew up in India and I am ethnically Indian. I love Indian food.

I have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in business administration.

I read tarot and oracle cards.

I love cooking and serving simple food mostly inspired by my mum’s cooking.

I love ocean.

I am an omnist, that is, I believe all religions are true and beautiful. However, my spiritual beliefs and practices are heavily influenced by Buddhism, Hinduism, and my reverence for mother nature. I love rituals. I believe mundane is sacred.

I am a student of “A course in miracles'‘.

Reading inspiring quotations are my go to way to keep myself grounded in my values and to lift my spirit.

Here are some quotes I love:

  • “If you touch one thing with deep awareness, you touch everything.” - Thich Nhat Hanh

  • “Be a curator of your life. Slowly cut things out until you’re left only with what you love, with what’s necessary, with what makes you happy.” - Leo Babauta

  • “Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.” - Gary Snyder

  • "If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete." – Jack Kornfield

  • “At any moment, you have a choice, that either leads you closer to your spirit or further away from it.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Thanks for taking time to know me! <3

I welcome you here, in this virtual sanctuary, and invite you to look around.
